2005 -------
I have a large multi-sheet spreadsheet developed over the years from an early
Excell, via StarOffice 5.2 (I think) then OpenOffice (build 641) and now
transferred to OpenOffice 1.1.3.
If I continually save as type StarCalc5.0 (.sdc) everything is OK.
If I save as OpenOffice default type (.sxc) many of the strings vanish. They
are still present in the data, as can be seen in the 'Input line' when a
seemingly empty cell is selected.

I also need to export the file to Excel (5.0). This was OK with OO 641, but
the same problem is happening if I use OO 1.1.3.

I have a small portion that exhibits the problem - how can I attach it to this
issue? .sdc and .sxc are 186KB and 11KB respectively.
