If you open a thesaurus window using CTRL + F7 on a word, such as "Knowledge",
then double click on a proposed replacement, such as "Cognition", the word
"Knowledge" will be replaced in the "Word" box with "Cognition", and in the
"Replace" box ") Knowledge" will appear. Note the close brace and space which is
attached to the word in the replace box.

Accepting the replacement causes the brace to appear in the document as well.
