As to P1, that was just a dumb mistake on my part. As to the "zoom pull down menu", what I am referring to is not a "drop down menu" per se, but the "Zoom" item that can be added to a toolbar which provides options to choose from (similar to font and font size). I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean (please accept my This may also be my mistake, since I am using Ximian's OpenOffice release, and so if it is not a feature of OpenOffice, but only of Ximian's OpenOffice, than I am reporting this in the wrong place.
