------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Feb 1 04:21:11 -0800 2005 ------- Yes, Eric B and me (Eric H.) for our native Builds we're using a different installer then the international english Version of 1.1.2 I donnot know which tool is used to make the international Installer but Eric and me we're using Apple's Packagemacker for our builds and up to now I know of no great problems that occured when using my package. The last two installation errors were due to a corrupted Download which and could be verified by comparing the md5sums. If your md5sum is different from the one that is given by your native project there you go, your download is corrupted and you should download OOo again and try another installation. If the md5sums match. We really need more informations. For my 1.1.2 up to 1.1.4 builds I can say that they passed QA and in order to do QA you have to install OOo and therefore such a bug in the installation package would have been found. If not at least others trying to install would have discovered it and I hope that noone who had this error simply forgot or was not able to report it. Yes soffice is a bit different from the one that get's compiled but same here too, no QA Tester found a bug and I was able to install my own package and do QA too. I think we have done what we could to provide the best possible OOo package in our language. If you are a german OOo User feel free to ask your question on [email protected] since German is more familiar to me then English.
