2005 -------
Steps to reproduce:
0) Open a new Document
1) Choose Insert|Picture → From file
2) Select a jpeg-Image

The preview is shown in wrong colors, it has red and blue channels swapped
(people have purple faces,..) 

The inserted image is displayed fine, the OOo-fpicker shows the colors correctly
in the preview.
Other filetypes like gif, png,.. are fine.

I'm not sure whether this problem existed before I upgraded my system to gnome
2.12 (now with gtk+ 2.8.3).
