------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 12 05:55:39 -0700 2005 ------- I unfortunately can't be too specific as I don't know exactly what caused this problem. I was creating forms in Base and to find records I used Filter by Form. In the beginning it worked beautifully, but at one stage it just stoppped working. Clicking the FBF button did open the data enter window, but the Form FIlter toolbar was gone, thus making the Filter by Form feature inoperable. This applied to all forms. I then installed a new hard drive and re-installed OOo (128). Now FBF worked great again. Then, to get my original settings back, I copied the old C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user directory over the new one. This caused FBF to revert back to the problem state. Restoring the new C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user directory cleared it up again. Unfortunately I am not technical enough to go beyond this stage in further investigating which settings file could have caused the problem.
