------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 13 03:07:24 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, This may count as a duplicate of issue 30503, but that seems to have developed into a much more fundamental discussion of formatting and autocompletion, and this is a much simpler issue. As most word processors do, when you start a new word after one that ends with a full stop, Openoffice kindly capitalises the word for you. This is usually quite a good idea, unless you have an abbreviation in a sentence. The one example I've spotted by accident is: I type: "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" I get: "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" Is there a case for a list of exceptions to autocapitalisation, or will that slow Openoffice up too much? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
