Don't know, what Illustrator does to the color values, but since color values in SVG are encoded (e.g.) as #RRGGBB, where RR, GG and BB are hexadecimal digits, to reference any color from sRGB color space, the above statement is obviously not true. The previously uploaded SVG file references color #0B3D91 for the blue letters, which corresponds to 17 61 145 in decimal notation. This can easily changed by hand into #06348C, which corresponds to 6 52 140 (or whatever sRGB color you wish).
