I think that displaying messages on the downloads page can be a goog idea. See my attachment. I will ask the NL projects to make clear on their pages the status of their 2.0 and language packs. Meanwhile, it may be good in a near future to add some list of available lang packs on the downloads page so that people could see what's the status. After all, we have adopted the packs system and have decided to make it our default choice for the upcoming releases.
