Maybe it's related to the network configuration...I'll have to investigate... I'm not sure if it's a good idea to retarget this issue. In my opinion Hennes should debug into this as soon as possible. Things we can exclude: /var/tmp is writable /tmp is writable the system has a hostname the system has a domainname $HOME is writable the system has 1 GB ram the sytem has 1 GB swap When I installed Solaris 10 3/05 (DVD) on my notebook then I selected everything. I selected all available locales to be installed.
