------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 21 19:15:31 -0700 2005 ------- I downloaded and installed beta2. (Twice) When I attempt to open the documents that caused me problems in issue 54625, now I get an XP error report concernining "soffice.bin" encountering a "problem". I assume that soffice.bin is an open office component. Subsequent attempts to open the file result in open office attempting to "recover" my document, but it fails every time, and attempts to submit its own error report. But every time it does, the error report that open office uses encounters a "problem", and XP has me submit an error report about open office's error report. I wiped open office from my system, and tried re-downloading from an alternate source. The results were the same. Bottom line, I am now not able to get to my documents at all, and since the .odt file format is not able to be opened with word or even notepad, I am now not able to access a 50-60 page document. Will openoffice 1.1.5 read documents that were created with the beta version(s), or am I screwed? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
