2005 -------
I have a word doc which apparently imports OK. It is 22 pages long. Opening it
is fine, and it opens at page 1. If I grab the scrollbar at the right (I'm in
page view mode), and scroll down, when I get to page 19 or 20 (it's not quite
clear which), on which there is an embedded graphic (the last of many), the tool
freezes and crashes instantly, apparently while rendering a graphic. It then
pops up a Document Recovery message window. It says that due to an unexpected
error, OpenOffice crashed. Any open files have been saved and can be recovered.

The crash is very repeatable - every time on this version, 1.9.125. It also
happens on an older, Novell build - 1.9.79.2.3.

This is on SuSE Linux 9.3 professional.

The presentation is company confidential, but I'd be happy to upload it, if I
could see how.

Paul
