------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 28 10:13:02 -0700 2005 ------- When using Conditional formatting and saving as an xls file, the conditional formatting is only applied to the first 256 rows when the file is opened with excel 2003 or gnumeric 1.5.90. In excel, the conditional formatting is set correctly if you select the area with conditional formating, and edit the conditional formatting. Hitting OK then applies the formatting correctly, but not until that time. I can supply a sample file of you want, but it is easy to reproduce. 1) Select a column (EG: Column 1) 2) apply a conditional format with the formula: ROW(A1)>0 3) apply a format with a background color or something else easy to see. 4) Save as Excel 5) Open in any of Gnumeric 1.5.90, excel 2003, excel viewer 2003 * The formatting appears to have only been applied to the first 256 rows. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
