'fs', Thanks about your answer. I think if I send you an example for reproduce the same situation will not work. I have been trying the querys again, but all works well. Nevertheless the original situation happened, it wasn't a nightmare ;).

My databases are in MySQL, therefore pass to a 'base' table formats involve more work, and furthermore, in this case the information is confidential.

More than more we are using base, then if I experience the same issue, I'll try know where is the problem, and send you an e-mail.
