This description refers to the attached sample spreadsheet.

Please notice the value in cell M62. The cell formatting is 'General', and it
displays the value 32595.57. This would appear to be correct, and if one follows
all formulas backwards, the result can be verified to be correct.

However, copy the contents of the cell, move to any blank cell and Edit->Paste
Special.. Choose to paste only the number contents. Examining the results of
the paste, you will see that the cell itself contains 32595.57. The SUM= report
on the status bar reports the same number. However, the /real/ (and incorrect)
value is displayed in the formula bar as 32595.5699999999.

The actual values can also be seen by:
 1. Saving the file as a CSV, or
 2. Change the number precision under cell formatting to more than 2 digits
after the decimal point.

This ambiguity needs to be addressed. If the number were exported to CVS as it
is presented to the user, that should fix the problem (See Excel discussion in
next paragraph). Or, perhaps the value should be displayed 'as-is' when using
the general display method so that the rounding error can be noticed and
corrected.

M$ Excel exports the value of that cell as 32595.57 when saving as a CSV file.
It also displays the same value in the cell. The unrounded value can be
displayed by changing the precision in the Format Cell dialog, or by copying and
pasting just the value and viewing in the Formula Bar (as above).
