------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 3 14:02:38 -0700 2005 ------- All documents I write that contain special characters, especially when sub- or superscripted, appear as they should while I'm writing them. However, if I save, close openoffice and then later reopon one of these documents in openoffice, these special characters appear jumbled, compressed, overlapping over the adjacent characters - this happens when viewing the file and when printing it. This problem only appears when I use the font type Times, which is the only font I've found that has all the special characters I require (mostly mathematical, therefor I need practically the entire Greek character set as well as many of the mathematical symbols). Due to this and the fact that the very same documents are displayed perfectly under the same circumstances when I use OpenOffice in Windows, I suspect that this problem could be related to some problem with the font-types. I can also not just print the documents while in Windows, because the Times font type under Windows doesn't appear to have all the special characters I require.
