Envelopes are normally inserted into the right-hand slot of the HP 970cse, with the flap to the left, as viewed from the front. Inserting the envelope with the flap right usually causes a paper jam. Current versions of OOo Beta 2 (and version 1.1.4) print envelopes such that the flap must be on the right for proper printing orientation with Linux drivers. this almost always causes a paper jam. Orientation is correct in the Windows versions (insertion with flap on the left).
