2005 -------
When I recieve an e-mail with an attachment of either .doc, .xls, .odt etc
and I attempt to open within outlook, ith gives tha above error. If I copy it to
the desk top or any folder double click it, it opens fine.

    I have tested on dozens of files with the same reult, so it can´t be a
file-specific issue.

    I have upgraded often ( probably 15 times ) since the first versions 1.9.x
and this is a recuring problem that sometimes is present, and sometimes works
fine. However the last 5 times or so it has never worked. Unfortunatly I din´t
keep a log of versions and which version work wnd which don´t, nor the exact
steps of installing each.

    When I first install the program, the file asociations are not made, so I
made them manualy by right-clicking on files, selecting the application and
checking the "Allways use this program..." checkbox.

    I opend WIN.INI and found the following lines:

scalc.exe="C:\Archivos de programa\OpenOffice.org 2.0\program\scalc.exe"
swriter.exe="C:\Archivos de programa\OpenOffice.org 2.0\program\swriter.exe"
simpress.exe="C:\Archivos de programa\OpenOffice.org
1.9.122\program\simpress.exe"
soffice.exe="C:\Archivos de programa\OpenOffice.org 2.0\program\soffice.exe"

    I had not upgraded the file for impress files, so I changed the directory
manualy to 2.0. The result was the same: it opens fine from a directory or the
start menu but not from Outlook.
