Regarding the error message you have, X11 is probably not installed, or not up to date. If you are using Tiger, Apple has choosen to not automatically upgrade X11 while Panther-to-Tiger upgrade, and you must install it : start an install with the Tiger DVD choose "customize", select X11 only and install it. Maybe your problem will disappear Important : we need more information to understand exactly the problem you have. Can you please give us the exact version number of OpenOffice.org you are trying to install, and describe what you exactly did ?
