I have changed the issue priority to P3, which seems more appropriate to an
issue of this kind. If you click on the link next to the Priority field, you
can see the criteria that apply to each level.
I have attempted to reproduce the issue in OOo 2.0rc2 on WinXP SP2. I can
reproduce the first part of the problem; Outline numbering does continue
numbering after a paragraph break. This problem has in fact been previously
reported as issue 53243.
I cannot reproduce the second part of your problem. When I turn off numbering
in the text paragraph, the numbering in the heading above is unaffected.
I am going to close this issue and mark it as a duplicate of 53243.
If you are still seeing the hebaviour described in the second part of your
problem, perhaps you can re-post it as a new issue with a more detailed
step-by-step and an example document. The extra information will hopefully
enable a member of the QA team to reproduce it.
