SBA: If a table cell breaks at the end of a page or column is a matter of table
attributes.
By default, newly inserted tables do break. Therefore (no bugdoc) MCI couldn't
reproduce your
problem "from scratch".

Try this:
 - Open your document
 - Click into that table
 - [via menu]: Table - Table Properties - Tab page "Text flow"
 - check "Allow table to split..." and "Allow rows to split..."
 - OK
 -> Done
Set to invalid.
