This a nice remark for developers perhaps but I don't know how to access
the "GTK-filepicker" and the user guide doesn't give me how to.
Therefore this is not a solution. If you can divulge how this is
accomplished I would be very pleased but would also suggest to mention
it in the user guide.
Moreover I always get somewhat annoyed when somebody thinks he knows all
and says:"You usually should not need to mess around with the files in
these directories". That's not for you but for me to decide. A
designer/developer can never know what a user intend to do with a
program. As (retired) head of a company that developed highly specific
applications for the medical profession I think I know a little what I'm
talking about. That's the reason why Linux programs are much better than
proprietary programs. User input is the most valuable (and costless)
asset for a developer.
