------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 10 23:52:47 -0700 2005 ------- Saving: My spreadsheet has approx. 10'000 rows, 10 columns. Only data in it (Formulas were deleted). The saving of the file takes extremely long, about half a minute (Normal save and also auto-save). The filesize is only about 2,5MB. I am comparing with Excel, where the saving takes only 2-3 seconds. Copy and Paste: When selecting a large amount of cells to copy (10'000 rows, about 35 columns), it never ends after the copy-command (sorry for this imprecise indication, but i stopped openoffice after 15min, probably it would have finished the reading of the data later on). The spreadsheet contains formulas, especially matrix- operations. Again, Excel takes about 10-20 seconds. No harddisk activities during copy.
