Hello,

I reproduced this on the OpenOfficeOrg Writer 2.0 RC build (Windows XP
Professional, P4, 1.6. GHz, 512 MB RAM).

Backspacing the first line of a piece of text with a user defined style that
has a first line indentation set, causes the indenting to jump to the left
margin.

Automatic first line indenting (which negates user defined first line
indenting) works as described by jslyster:

Quote
"It seems to me the proper behavior would be to back the paragraph up one line
to the previous line, making it part of the previous paragraph. This is not
what happens."

It would seem that user defined first line indenting would respond the same
way.

A.Y.K. Jong
