------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 11 04:45:54 -0700 2005 ------- With French Locale setting French(France), French(Monaco), French(Luxembourg) the decimal separator is a comma. Numbers in scientific format is incorrectly stored/ recognized within a cell formula. Steps to reproduce the anomaly - Tools > Options > Language setting > Languages > Locale setting = French(France) - In a Calc cell type a formula, example: =123.45e20 - Save the document, close it. - Re-open the document : the formula is in error. - change Locale setting to Germany(Germany), where comma is also the decimal separator - Re-open the document : the formula is correct. Note that if a single scientific number is entered in the cell without = character, there is no problem. Anomaly exists in 1.1 versions and also in 1.9 or 2.0 RC versions. See a Calc example in next attachment. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
