I don't know what you mean by "random number", but the idea was that the value
of the radio button field would be the name of the selected radio button of a
group (or "Off" if none is selected). But considering issue 52534 that needs to
change anyway and Reference value (on) is the obvious choice. In case they are
not unique (as is the default when the form controls are created in writer)
however the value should fallback to ascending numbers "1 2 3 ..." in a radio
button group.
