------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 12 09:36:25 -0700 2005 ------- The Database Wizard could use better defaults for text files. I. The default field separated should be a comma for two reasons: a) the term "comma separated values" means comma is the field seperator and b) it would be consistent Calc's Text Import where comma is the default field seperator. II. Changing the field separator to comma (in I., above) would conflict with the default thousand separator (currently comma)--where perhaps {None} would be a better default. III. {None} should be added to the drop-down lists for Decimal separator and Thousands separator. This change would be consistent with the Text seperator drop-down list. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
