Showing of non-printing characters stopped working in OOo-2.0.0_rc2. It was
working in OOo-1.9.122.

The command is enabled, and this behaviour is independent of the document source
("new" document, opening an existing MS-Word document, opening an existing
OpenDocument document, etc.). The UI (button in toolbar and menu entry) responds
to the command, but the document view does not show the nonprinting characters
(none of them). Behaviour is independent of "view mode" ("print layout", "web
layout"). Selecting text does not seem to reveal the hidden characters in
"reverse video", thus disallowing this being a colour problem.

Note: Not sure what happens under Linux (will try that later).
