(Damn, I just submitted this as Issue #56039, but I gave the wrong version of
OOO, so I'm resubmitting again.)

Disclaimers: (1) This may be a duplicate bug report, but none in my query were
exactly the same, so I thought I'd let the developers decide that. (2) I tested
this with both the word processor and the presentation programs and they behaved
exactly the same so it's really a file converter/file filter issue, but there
was no project for that.

I'll submit a sample DOC-file that has a EMF that appears perfect in any program
in MS-Office, but appears as a black box in OpenOffice 1.9.125.
