I have mandated OpenOffice.org (OOo) for the past year. However, because of the retarded state of OOo 1.1.x for the past year I have been under constant pressure from my staff allow them to use MS Office, which they have been used to using before joining my business. I have been holding them off with the reason that OOo 2.0 would be much better, which it is, but for good business reasons I have been forced to make exceptions and authorize some purchases of MS Office. However, certain deficiencies such as Issue #42464 will continue to give them cause to request/demand MS Office.
