------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 18 05:54:53 -0700 2005 ------- There are additional problems: if you rename the link by hand you still have: a) the link with the .XLS file is still there (see: edit -> link), it should be automatically removed also by the wizard b) the "hidden sheet" is there (the one formed with the .XLS file), so this also has to be removed (Format -> Sheet -> Show, right click on the tab and delete) c) if you change case of the file name you reference to, i.e. from uppercase to lowercase, the link is not updated (I've to file a separate issue about that), but the reference in the formula is automatically uppercase. The file is not found, since lowercase, and the value is set to 0, instead of give an error Frank states that "IMHO the costs for this doesn't match the outcome. So this should be a wontfix Issue.". This only means that he has no Excel files to convert. If developers instead lissen to users, and really want OOo adoption, should fix it ASAP. An average office has thousand of files to convert before removing M$Office (I had 6487), so OOo can't leave on the "do it by hand" of the user what can easely be automated by the conversion wizard, is totally non-sense. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
