he Issue was successfully replicated on Window XP Oo1.1.4 as well as redhat 
linux 9.
The steps are as follows:
Tools-->AutoCorrect/AutoFormat-->Word Completion tab-->Enable Word Completion
Click ok.

write some text on the writer and then add a . at the end of your sentence, any
word  typed after this must have the first letter captilized but if you add a
number or a Time stamp or a Date stamp the first letter will still be
capitalized whereas it is not supposed to be captilized since it's not the first
word at the begining of the sentence.
