Sorry to re-open this, I have just finished installing RC3 on WinXP SP2 and
still I do not think that the effect works correctly (and by correctly I do
*NOT* mean like in m$ powerpoint).

create a text box with a couple of lines
Select custom animation --> entrance --> appear
in the effect options under the effect tab select in the after animation combo
box: dim with colour, then select the colour you want.
In the text animation tab select by first level paragraph.

Play the animation and you will see that the colour changes immediately.

Now "technically" I guess it works ok (the animation appear finishes and the
colour changes), but actually the desired behaviour is that the colour of the
item x changes when item x+1 appears on the screen.

Maybe I am not checking a box or something like this, but at present the "dim
with colour" option seems a waste of time.

Cheers,

Michele
