------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Oct 21 17:16:03 -0700 2005 ------- Data to text provides a very useful technique to build input (macro) files to other programmes by formatting data from, for example, spreadsheets. While trying to use this feature, I found it removed some input text and duplicated other text. Step by step: Open a new text file, press F4 and select a data source and table. Select a set of records to export and then select "Data to Text" icon. Type in keywords you want in the output macro and select data to be put into the file from the spreadsheet at the locations required. Example: I have a file that needs the keyword "DATES", carriage return, then the data from the spreadsheet, <Date>, then a terminator '/', then a new line, then another keyword 'WCONHIST', space, 'WELL', space, 0, then data <Rate>, then a terminator '/' and new line. When outputing this file, however, some characters typed do not appear in the output, while others appear duplicated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
