my very first attempt seems to be the correct one: just running 'OOo_..exe',
selecting all packages for network installation. is ok for the station on which
this setup was executed. as i could not find any way to 'attach' another station
i asked google for help and found some text metionning to abort and use the '-a'
(administration) switch assumeing this is the 'official' way. was ok with the
first look. i installed 3 stations until i found the 160mb installations!

i'll inform the writer about his mistake...

one thing could be optimized: setting 'all from network' on the two main-options
disables the path-selection. thus my very first install was a local network
drive.. it's not very conveniant to enter data from bottom to top!

just one more question:
do i really have to run the 'OOo_2.0.0_Win32intel_install_de.exe' from every
station as admin and reinstall the whole to the same network directory? i'd
rather have a way to just create the registry entries and menue for the other
stations.
with 00 1.1.x ther was a setup in the program directory to install OO on other
stations. and this missing pice of software was the start of my todays late
night..

(as i only have about 10 systems, i don't have any professional software
distribution tool around).

sorry for messing you up. usually google finds fine answers, but this time it
would have been much faster (for you and me) to ask this last question first
here!

thanks
tobias
