I checked with 2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)] and can confirm the
effect, but I believe it is not the problem that those "Nonprinting characters"
really do not work. Please select Menu "Tools - Options - Writer - Formatting
Aids" an look whether checkboxes for items you want to see are checked.
It seems that this is another preselection that will be destroyed during an
upgrade.
