Some notes on the status: things have improved for some of the slidetransitions,
but there are four transitions left that still crash some ATI drivers (the
'uncover' effects). I'm clueless about the root cause of this problem, thus, I'd
really need the help of somebody familiar with the internals of Windows display
drivers (preferably from ATI, of course).
