------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Oct 29 06:42:29 -0700 2005 ------- Reviewing a modified document with revision marks is not easy because the user must open the modeless dialog box for revisions. MS Word offers a view mode where the modifications are shown in the side of the document. This is far more easier to read, and even to use for accepting and rejecting modifications (in conjunction with a revision toolbar). This lacks in OO. Moreover, the comments added in the text are only visible by double-clicking on the small yellow box in the text. Sometimes, the document is not annotated, but heavily commented, and showing comments in the same way as Word (still on the side of the document) may be very convenient. Please note that existing dialogs should remain, because they enable browsing for a specific comment/revision: the two way of doing things are complementary. Their UI could be better for this usage btw. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
