------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Nov 1 16:16:46 -0800 2005 ------- I am also having this problem. I use a network printer that is only turned on when it is in use, and whenever a document is printed to this printer, the next time that same document is opened, it can take 10 seconds or so if that network printer (the last printer printed too) is offline. Very irritating for those of us who always print to a printer that may often be turned off. I think this is only a problem with network printers (I am using a Postscript driver Lexmark laser, mapped by TCP/IP, if it makes any diff). Also, I am using OOo 2.0 on Windows XP. The printer in question is NOT my system default printer, but it appears the 'last printer printed too' is saved in the OOo document. OOo must be trying to query that printer for some info--it probably shouldn't do that except at the time the print command is given. That, or just default back to the system default printer upon reloading (though that removes the feature of it remembering the last printer). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
