Prebinding is a process that can improve the user experience by providing a faster application launch. For more information on working with prebinding, see “Prebinding”. </quote> This makes me think the a "dmg containing a meta-package" approach might indeed by more appropriate - even though I am a big fan of the drag-and-drop installation.
