------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 3 10:13:35 -0800 2005 ------- I am running Gnome 2.0. I have a dual-screen setup and run two separate invocations of Xsun and gnome on these screens. In other words, I start the X server with: /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun -nobanner -dev /dev/fbs/pfb1 defdepth 24 -dev \ -/dev/fbs/pfb0 defdepth 24 left and then start gnome on each screen. The problem is that once OO is started on one desktop, there is no way to start another invocation of OO on the other desktop. The 2nd invocation always starts on the screen where the first window was openened. Although there is a -display option documented, this does not allow the 2nd window to be located on the alternate screen. This is a really serious limitation. I want to be able to, for example, start Writer on one screen and then later run Calc on the other screen. I discussed this on the user's forum and there were no solutions offered. I think this is a serious limitation which should be given high priority.
