------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 3 10:17:49 -0800 2005 ------- I guess I should state what I think it should do: a) I don't see any reason why it couldn't handle 32 or 64 bit binary numbers. b) It shouldn't return signed decimals or maybe there should be a signed and unsigned verion of it. For example, 0xFF should return 255, not -1. c) The documentation could be better. If it is supposed to only handle 8 bit numbers, the doc should say so. Ditto with signed and unsigned interpretation.
