------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 3 18:00:24 -0800 2005 ------- In migrating MS Excel spreadsheets to OpenOffice Calc there is a consistant error when using a define name for a single cell in the SUM formula. For example cell B16 is assigned a name of Q1Medical and cell B19 is assigned a name Q1RealEstate. When used in the formula =SUM(Q1Medical:Q1RealEstate) to add cells B16 thru B19 Calc returns a #NAME? error. This is the equivalent of =SUM(B16:B19). MS Excel allows defined names for single cells in formulas. Is the intention to not allow the use of defined names for single cells in formulas in OpenOffice Calc ? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
