------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 9 05:35:11 -0800 2005 ------- Since you all probably have too much time, here's a wonderful new bug report to keep you people busy: ;-) To reproduce: 1) load bugdoc in MS Word (2003) 2) load bugdoc in OOo 2 3) gasp and behold the difference I have no idea how the .doc was produced, but it contains a section with two columns, where the first column covers the entire page, and the second column has no width at all. The result is a normal one-page one-column document, but actually using two columns. Which doesn't make any sense, but when did that ever matter. OOo reads the two columns, and makes the first 1 inch wide, and uses all the remaining space for the remainder. Which means you have a thin column of text on the left side, instead of a full-page view. Since the attributes (as displayed by the respective UIs) don't match, I suspect it's a problem in the WW8 parser. Henning, according to current rumours that's your playground now. Please prioritize or forward as appropriate. Have fun. (Subjective priority on my side is low.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
