When I open the styles & formatting window I cannot reliably get the menu with
"Modify..." on it to come up.

It appears as though the menu comes up and then instantly closes. If I am
running KDE 3.3 and I am moving the mouse across the selection while I
right-click once, I can get the menu to pop up and stay up occasionally.

In a lightweight WM such as CTWM (which I generally use), the window will open
and close so fast that I cannot even see that it attempted to do so. I cannot
get the menu to pop up with the "move the mouse" trick mentioned above.

I am using Gentoo linux and openoffice-2.0, built from source. I tried the
binary port, also, but it has the same problem.
