On Mandrake 2006 which uses 1.1.5 when I try to load that saved presentation, OpenOffice secfaults. So does ooimpress. The "Loading" appears at the bottom of the screen, but the loading does not start (green squares along the bottom do not appear). and ooffice crashes with a segfault. This does not always happen, but it usually does with this file. If I open a different presentation first, and then load this one, it will load. I thought this might have been due to upgrade from 10.1 to 2006 so I did a fresh install of Mandrake 2006, and ooffice worked for a couple of days, but now it segfaults again. Note that an earlier version of that same presentation does not segfault. I have tried, once I opened it, to save the presentation under a different name. But that newly named one also segfaulted. Kernel 2.6.12 (Today it opens most of the time, but not always.
