------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 14 00:51:05 -0800 2005 ------- When we have a latin character follow by CTL character, e.g. (for Thai) 1ก OOo will add a space between the two character. According to issue #13917, this is a feature - "Apply spacing between Asian, Latin and Complex text". And it can be enable or disable at Format->Paragraph->Asian Typography. I've tried disable it and the result look OK - no space between the letters. However, to reach the 'Asian Typography' tab, one must enable 'Enabled for Asian languages' in Tools->Options->Language Settings->Languges, or otherwise the tab will not appear. If we can't reach the tab, we can't disable the space. This is a bug. So IMO :- 1) there're must be some way for CTL users to disable the space (w/o having to enable Asian language) 2) disable the space by default.
