I think, the default transition style for the exported PDF should be changed to
"no transition" because this is also the default for the presentation.
Off course you can turn off the effects in the PDF export dialog, but then
transitions are disabled for the entire presentation.
At present, for the PDF it is not possible to have some slides with transition
and others without. You only can disable the transition by selecting one of the
styles not suported in PDF, but this ist not the straight way.
