------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 6 11:38:47 -0800 2005 ------- In OO.o m74, I changed my path for user support files, including autocorrect and autotext files, to a new folder, c:\documents and settings\<user>\openoffice common, in an effort to make OO.o more transportable when upgrading. Now new words for autocorrect are added to the list but do not survive the dialog box. I currently have three autocorrect files in the folder: acor1033.dat and acord.2057.dat, which appear to be the same file, and some of my own additions, acor1034.dat. The problem predates the three files, though. Even when only one file was there (current acor1034.dat, but then named acor1033.dat), new words were not added. At all times the words that already are in autocorrect are implemented correctly; it's only that new words are not addable. Similarly, Autotext is not saving its word list intersessionally. This is true for m69 as well as m74, and in m69 I did not change any paths that I recall; certainly I did not attempt to move user support files to a single new folder for ease of upgrading.
