------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 6 20:52:04 -0800 2005 ------- Reproduced the problem successfully on build 1.9.74 on WinXP SP2 My repro steps: 1) Start OO, open new document 2) Select Edit>AutoText 3) Check the option "Display reminder of name as suggestion while typing" 4) Under "Standard" select "Cancellation, General" 5) Leave the shortcut as default "CAN" 6) Click "Insert" 7) Text will be inserted in the document 8) On a new line, type "CAN" (case insensitive) 9) Notice a tooltip with the text "Cancellation, General" 10) Press ENTER 11) AutoText is inserted 12) Close OpenOffice Writer 13) Open Writer again 14) Select Edit>>AutoText 15) Notice that the checkbox "Display reminder of name as suggestion while typing" is checked 16) Close dialog without doing anything else 17) Follow steps 8 to 11 and notice that everything works 18) Close OO, reboot computer 19) Start OO, Select Edit>>AutoText 20) Checkbox is no longer checked (setting is forgotten) 21) Close dialog, and type "CAN" on a new line and press ENTER 22) No AutoText is inserted --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
